This love story concept is something that I’ve always enjoyed making and am constantly coming up with better designs and different variations. This has trained up my skills to refine details, and it comes in handy when I want to add some “wow” factor to my sculptures, which David always stresses in all the balloon sculptures he makes.
For future explorations, I intend to create some sort of storyline using simple sculptures in the future.

nice bear.
for the head portion : make two bubbles instead of one before making the 5-bubble ring. when you insert the two bubbles thru the ring, the first bubble is in front (like what you have now), the second bubble serves as a ’stopper’ so that the first bubble will not be completely sticking out. hope you understand what I said. try it.

yup I get what you mean, but it’ll usually result in the nose of the bear pointing down, making it look somewhat like a dog instead, so I make one bubble to make the nose point upwards. but of course, I think the effect can be achieved also if the proportion of the two bubbles are right. thanks for the advise, I’ll try it the next time I do bears.
