The Fuschia Heart

I’ve tried out quite a number of things so far in 2009. This heart is one of them. I was intrigued by the many designs that I can play around this structure. It can be done in so many variations to couple with other gifts and for decorative purposes. First attempt, for Elaine.

An idea for the extension of this design would be that the bottom part can be weaved into a basket which holds a teddy bear in it, an idea Li Sheng and I almost tried at Hwa Chong’s Dance Night 2009 Back Again, if not for the fact that we were running short of time.
